The story of Kevin Pomponi
Kevin’s story begins in 1992, when he was born in Lugano, Switzerland. He grows between colors and street art influences. The skate environment, in which Kevin is a former professional, made him very early in love with art. This mix of styles and designs gives Kevin a need for creative expression that will lead him to the world of tattoos from a very young age.
Between art and luxury
His speciality is the realistic black and white genre; he adopts a Chicano style revisited with influences from Los Angeles Chicana art urban streetwear culture.
Thanks to his unique and particular style, he was contacted to tattoo various public figures, including Swiss TV presenters, musicians and singers.
Kevin organizes several tours around the world both in private studios and in various luxury locations. In addition to having founded two tattoo studios in Lugano and a studio in Los Angeles, in the United States, Kevin has collaborated with the international brand Yves Saint Laurent.
From Lugano to the rest of the world
During his career Kevin has also participated in national and international conventions and won several awards including the “Ink Mayhem” in Laughlin, Nevada (USA).
Currently, many media ink pages with millions of followers share Kevin’s work on instagram, which are viewed and appreciated by different parts of the world.
